On Monday, February 24, Millie attended the Los Angeles premiere of the sci-fi comedy adventure The Electric State.

The 21-year-old actress dazzled in a beaded gold gown at the event, held at the Egyptian Theatre.

With her on the red carpet was her doting husband Jake, who gave her a kiss as they posed for the cameras.

The couple seemed to be in high spirits, but social media users couldn’t stop obsessing over her appearance.

“I thought it was his mom yikes still beautiful,” one commenter said, while another wrote, “How to look 45 at 23 years of age.”

During the film premiere on Monday, a red carpet interviewer spoke to the actress about her blonde transformation and how fans were calling this her “Millie Bobby Blonde” era.

“I didn’t think people cared that much about my hair,” she told Access Hollywood, “and then I realized it’s become a topic of conversation.”

The Stranger Things star made the red carpet debut of her platinum blonde locks during the 2025 SAG Awards.

She hit back at haters earlier this month for making comments about her appearance.

“Women grow. Not sorry about it,” she unapologetically said in an Instagram story.

The Electric State, which will premiere on Netflix on March 14, 2025, has Millie starring alongside Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Giancarlo Esposito and Stanley Tucci.

The movie tells the story of young Michelle (played by Millie) and a robot reluctantly teaming up with an eccentric drifter (played by Chris) to traverse through a robot wasteland and find Michelle’s brother.

Chris spoke about sharing the screen with Millie and said she used to bring a petting zoo with her to the set every day.

“She’s like a mother to all of these cats and dogs and goats and chickens and bunnies and llamas,” he told Access Hollywood

“I swear to God, she was like bringing a petting zoo with her every day,” he added.

Apart from calling her “very maternal” and “very sweet,” Chris said it was “awesome” to see Millie and Jake together, sharing “young love” before they tied the knot.

“It was just awesome to see them be super young and in love,” he told the outlet.

Chris revealed that Jake would often visit his now-wife on the film’s set.

She has “such a love for her now-husband, Jake, who was on set every day,” the Guardians of the Galaxy star said during an October appearance at New York Comic Con.

“They are these totally awesome and normal people who live extraordinary lives,” he added.

Millie and Jake (the son of singer Jon Bon Jovi) got engaged in April 2023, and secretly tied the knot in May last year.

During an interview with Vanity Fair earlier this monththe Enola Holmes actress called Jake the “first man” she’s ever loved and “been in love with.”

They were “pretty united” going into their marriage, having spoken about their political views, the family they wanted to build and the kind of careers they wanted.

“It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one,” she told the outlet. “I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”
