In Honor of DeeAnn, Gary, Megan, Jake, and Harley

On July 4th, our lives changed forever. In the early morning hours, a catastrophic flood in Ingram, Texas took five beloved members of our family, my Mother, DeeAnn, and my Stepfather, Gary, as well as my sister, Megan, her husband, and their young daughter, Harley. The grief is beyond words, and we are still trying to comprehend how to move forward without them.
My Husband and I never imagined having to ask for help like this. But no one expects to wake up and suddenly carry the weight of four funerals. On top of that, we’ve had to take on significant debt to ensure their estates are properly managed and their affairs are handled with the care they deserve. The financial burden is more than we can manage on our own, and we are doing everything we can to honor their lives and say goodbye with the dignity they deserve.
If you are able to support us in any way, please know that every gift will go directly toward these unexpected costs. Most of all, we are deeply grateful for your love, prayers, and kindness as we navigate this heartbreaking time. Jake’s immediate family will be setting up a separate fund to collect donations on his behalf.

With Deepest Gratitude and Thanks

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank each and every one of you who donated, shared, and offered your prayers and support during this devastating time in our lives. This outpouring of love has held us up in our darkest moments.

Thanks to your overwhelming generosity, we have reached and even exceeded our goal. We are beyond grateful. Your kindness has allowed us to honor our loved ones and support our family through this unimaginable grief.

We also want to share that we were unaware the goal amount was automatically increasing. This is our first time ever doing something like this, and we didn’t know how the platform worked. Please know that we never expected or intended for the goal to change.

At this time, we kindly ask that no further donations be made. Your support has been more than enough, and we are humbled by the compassion shown by so many.

Thank you again. Please continue to hold our family in your hearts as we begin to heal.
