Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
3 lemons, juiced
1 orange, juiced
1 tbsp honey (or to taste)
1/8 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 cup water
Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients: Peel and chop the ginger into small pieces. Juice the lemons and orange, removing seeds.
Blend: In a blender, combine the chopped ginger, lemon juice, orange juice, honey, cayenne pepper, turmeric powder, and water.
Blend until Smooth: Blend everything together until smooth. If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can add a bit more water.
Strain (Optional): If you want a smoother shot, strain the mixture using a fine sieve or cheesecloth to remove the pulp.
Serve: Pour the shot into small glasses. You can refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days.
Notes:
Adjust the sweetness with more honey if needed.
You can add a pinch of black pepper to enhance the absorption of turmeric.
