A woman has recently broken her silence regarding Elon Musk’s alleged newborn after months of keeping quiet. She revealed the reasons behind her decision to speak up now.
On February 15, 2025, columnist Ashley St. Clair took to X to announce that she had given birth to what she claims is Elon Musk’s 13th child.

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she revealed, explaining that she had initially chosen not to disclose the news to protect their child’s privacy and safety.
However, Ashley said recent events suggested the media would share the news despite the potential harm. She emphasized her commitment to raising their child in a safe environment and urged the media to respect their privacy.
Apart from her recent revelation, St. Clair has also gained recognition as a children’s book author. Her most well-known work, “Elephants Are Not Birds,” was created in partnership with BRAVE Books. The story explores themes of identity and delivers a conservative viewpoint to young readers.
Alongside her work as an author, Ashley’s recent revelation adds another layer to Elon Elon’s ever-growing family story — a journey that spans more than two decades.
Over the years, Elon has become a father to multiple children across several relationships, with some aspects of his family life garnering public attention while others remain largely private.
His path to fatherhood began during his time at Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada, where he met Justine Wilson. Their connection deepened quickly, and after selling his first company, Zip2, they got engaged and later married in 2000.

Two years later, the couple welcomed their first child, Nevada Alexander Musk. However, tragedy struck when Nevada passed away at just 10 weeks old after a sudden breathing issue.
Despite paramedics reviving him, the oxygen deprivation had caused irreversible brain damage. After three days on life support, Elon and Justine made the heartbreaking decision to let him go, with Justine cradling him in his final moments.
The pair found a way to continue growing their family through IVF, welcoming twins Griffin and Xavier in 2004, followed by triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian in 2006.
However, as the billionaire’s career demands increased, so did the strain on his marriage, ultimately leading to a divorce in 2008. Despite parting ways, they agreed to share custody of their five children.
In 2022, their child Xavier filed for a legal name and gender change, becoming Vivian Jenna Wilson. In court documents, Vivian expressed, “I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape, or form.”
Her TikTok account, where she occasionally shares glimpses of her life, has attracted hundreds of thousands of followers.
Elon’s family grew again during his relationship with Canadian musician Claire Boucher, known as Grimes. In May 2020, they welcomed their son, X AE A-XII, often referred to as “X.”
Grimes has spoken about X’s early curiosity about technology, sharing how he once became frustrated when his toy rocket’s design did not align with the real thing, even experiencing a “three-day meltdown” after watching a failed SpaceX rocket test.
In December 2021, Elon and Grimes welcomed a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl, or “Y,” via surrogate. Her public introduction happened unexpectedly when she was heard crying in the background during Grimes’ Vanity Fair interview.
Their third child, Techno Mechanicus, nicknamed “Tau,” was revealed in 2023 in Walter Isaacson’s biography of Elon. Details about Tau remain scarce.
During the same period, the South African native expanded his family again with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. In 2021, the pair quietly welcomed twins, with their birth only becoming public when court documents surfaced regarding a request to give the twins Elon’s surname and Shivon’s last name as part of their middle names.
The twins were born just weeks before Exa and their father confirmed their existence later on. In early 2024, the couple had a third child together, bringing his known total to 12.
When asked about his growing family, Elon pointed to his concerns about declining birth rates, explaining that he wanted to have “as many as I am able to spend time with and be a good father.”
He acknowledged the challenges of connecting with his older children, especially as they grow more independent, and noted, “I wish they would (sigh).”
Now, with the arrival of a 13th child, as claimed by Ashley, Elon Musk’s family continues to grow. Despite his demanding professional life, he remains committed to involving his children in his world, often bringing X along to business meetings and encouraging their interest in technology and space exploration.
