One influencer recently shared a JFK half dollar coin that could sell for up to $46,800.

Eric Miller (@thecoinchannel) shared the details on his TikTok page.

Miller is an influencer affiliated with the Professional Coin Grading Service, or PCGS.

He said the clue was to look at John F. Kennedy’s hair.

JFK half dollars have been made since shortly after the president was assassinated in 1963.

By 1964, they were already being minted.

The rare hair detail is on a “proof” coin from that year.

Proof coins are harder to find, and are shinier.
